Only watch to auction from Montblanc! Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours for Monaco. This watch is extremely unique, because there is no other one. Montblanc made this watch for charity and will be auctioned on 28 September 2013 to support of in-depth research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Therefore, the meaning of this watch is beyond its functionality.
Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Rising Hours for Monaco features a black dial with a grain d’orge guilloché décor, which is the most traditional decorative techniques in watchmaking and I have no idea what is that. No, I am joking. It is very traditional and quite rare to spot nowadays watch world. This technique resemble with the knobs of Bentley cars and some of the Audis. Anyway, the casing of the watch is stainless steel with 18ct red gold and bears mother-of-pearl inlay shaped like Montblanc’s logo.
