If these figures are not satisfying you, you life is really boring from this perspective. My personal opinion, I wouldn’t be bothered to buy a V8 Bentley. End of the day, it is Bentley craftsmanship. Very powerful and you cannot feel the performance difference that easily through the daily life driving conditions. 

Bentley Continental GT Speed is powered by a 6-lt W12 engine with 625 HP and 800 Nm of torque. It is really really fast! GT Speed only needs 4.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h and to satisfy the Speed, the top speed is 330 km/h. These figures are extremely impressive and force you to buy a W12 GT Speed instead of V8. My personal opinion, of course GT Speed is better. I cannot deny this fact and I would love to have one, if I was living in place where it is legal to achieve 330 km/h! The acceleration gap of GT V8 and GT Speed is only 0.6 seconds and probably very hard to feel. However, the feeling of driving a W12 engine is the main motivation to go for a GT Speed!

Where I found these two state-of-art Bentley in London? In HR Owen Bentley dealer! I think they are already gone but if you are lucky, you may see them.

New BMW 8-Series | Gran Lusso

New BMW 8-Series, Gran Lusso. In 1990s, BMW 8-Series was one of the ground breaking GT cars on the market. And true competitor of Mercedes S-Coupe or CL-Class. However, BMW did not pursued to manufacture 8-Series and stop the production in 1999. In those years, GT car market was not that strong. Also, consumers were not that interested on GT cars, it was a very very niche market. Mercedes CL survived from that market but 8-Series could not.

BMW recently revealed the Gran Lusso (Designed by Pininfarina) concept car in Villa d'Este. Gran Lusso is one of the best looking cars in the market! I know this is a very bold statement but, I did not see any car more attractive and more beautiful. The interior of the Gran Lusso is magnificent. Even the new S-Class and the Aston Martin look out-dated. There will be a new CL or S-Coupe coming soon but if BMW manufactures the Gran Lusso as the new 8-Series, the fundamentals of GT market will change.

This concept car is powered by a V12 engine from 7-Series with 544 HP and 750Nm.

Renault Twizy in Dubai Police Fleet

Renault Twizy in Dubai Police. During last few weeks, Dubai Police department revised their police fleet for car speed chases. As you all know that, the fleet is revised with Bugatti Veyron, Mercedes SLS AMG, Bentley Continental GT, Aston Martin One-77,Lamborghini Aventador. After the Bugatti Veyron, I was expecting to see a F35 jet fighter inside this fleet but Dubia Police decided extend the range with electric Renault Twizy. 

Renault Twizy is powered by a 20 HP electric motor with 57 Nm of torque. The top speed is 75 km/h, thus there is no 0 - 100 km/h acceleration. And the range is 100 KM with a 3-hour charge with 220 Volts.
