Montblanc Worldsecond: Picturise Your Moments

Montblanc Worldsecond is photo project for everyone all around world. You don’t have to own a Montblanc to join :) But you need an iPhone or an Android phone for the application.  

Montblanc Worldsecond is a mobile based application that is designed to take photos all over the world at the same time. There is a timer in the application and you can only take photo on that particular moment. And photos are uploaded to Montblanc Worldsecond website for a picture mosaic.

This campaign will run until the end of December, 2012. However my concern is the awareness, Montblanc is a niche luxury brand and many people never heard of it. Therefore, the engagement with the campaign might be low. On the other hand, the campaign is very creative and if many people are engaged with Montblanc Worldsecond, the outcome will be amazing.

I hope Montblanc is going to promote this campaign on Facebook. Because, I checked the website and I did not find many photos. If the community will be large, the photo mosaic will be amazing!

New Aston Martin Vanquish All Press Photos

Aston Martin Vanquish, the new Aston Martin to replace DBS. I recently wrote about the new Vanquish but I did not upload the all press photos. Now you have the all!

Again, Vanquish is not my dream because I cannot find the electric steering wheel or 18-way seat adjustments and my other comfort gadgets, but this does not make Vanquish a bad car! Actually Vanquish does looks nice from both outside and inside!

And I still stick my old statement, all Aston Martin looks the same from the distance but they have the soul and the passion. This is the reason why people still buy Aston Martins despite their disadvantages. 

For the press photos, I assume these photos were taken in Florence, Italy. But I am not sure!

Brief technical information: 6-lt V12 with 573 PS of power and 620 Nm of torque. Accelerates to 100 kph (62 mph) in 4,1 seconds and achieves 293 kph (183 mph). Acceleration is improved by the DBS but the top speed is lower than the DBS (305 kph - 190 mph).

Bugatti and Nasa for More Powerful Veyrons

A few days ago, I wrote about the more powerful Bugatti Veyron with 1600 PS.

Bugatti Veyron started the journey with 1001 PS and it was a beyond our imagination at those times. Later on, Veyron Super Sport revealed with 1200 PS and we all thought it was the end. And now Bugatti is going to reveal 1600 PS power version of Veyron. However this is not the end, it is the new beginning.

As the Bugatti obsessed with more power, they are approaching the limits of the internal combustion engines. And I have a proposal for Bugatti for the future engine technology. Why don’t you start working with Nasa JetPropulsion Laboratory? Because, after the 1600 PS Veyron, there will be another Veyron with 2000 PS, then another one with 2250 PS, another one with 2500 PS and after sometime, Bugatti will reach the limits of the physics. Therefore, Bugatti needs to start working with Nasa Jet Propulsion Laboratory for the future engine options :)

Cars in James Bond Skyfall

James Bond Skyfall, I have just watched the movie and I wanted to write about the cars in the movie. Because, there are more cars placed in Skyfall that you imagine.

The list starts with Land Rover Defender and Audi A4. Then JaguarXJ as you expected, then we Range Rover as usual. China sequences starts with Mercedes S500 (S550 for US market) and the taxi was a Volkswagen Passat. And we saw Land Discovery 4 as police vehicles and as a normal vehicle. I totally forgot the wrecked Volkswagen Beetles in the Turkey.

The London Police was driving Kia Optima, Sportage and Opel/VauxhallAstra. I really don’t know whether the London Police drives Kia or not! And the fire trucks were Dennis, a British classic. Later on, Bond left the Jaguar XJ and moved away with the Aston Martin DB5.

If there are more cars, I will update the post later. It was quite hard to keep up with in the Skyfall :)

Jeremy Clarkson vs. Ben Collins: The Stig

Jeremy Clarkson strikes back for The Stig! Ben Collins, TheStig from 2003 to 2010 was the second Stig in BBC Top Gear show. Collins kept his identity undercover for eight years until he said enough is enough. 

All of a sudden, Ben Collins revealed his identity and a huge dispute started with Jeremy Clarkson. They did not argue on TV face-to-face but in media, they used their all power. Clarkson wrote about his feelings for Ben Collins on his columns and Collins wrote a book about his life as The Stig. Then Clarkson made a short footage of The Stig, where they have many of them and implied that Ben Collins is not the only Stig.

However, this battle vanished from the media and we almost forget. Until now!

Jeremy Clarkson recently revealed his book about The Stig, The Stig: The Untold Story. I haven’t read the book yet, therefore I cannot comment on Clarkson’s words. But I know something, the Clarkson strikes back!
